It has recently been produced in one of the respiratory centers of Euskera. His seven-year-old niece asks the uncle – for the second time in a week – whether it is true that his seven-month-old cousin will be transferred to local school. His uncle replies yes, and tells him that he will then speak Spanish afterwards, also in a week for the second time.
“You also do it sometimes with the friends of the ikastola” has escaped the uncle between the lips, without thinking too much. “No, only Keylan and Enzo speak Spanish, and Alex also occasionally because they are from the outside.” His uncle has breathed as deeply as possible. “They are not external.” “They are.”
It has recently been produced in one of the respiratory centers of Euskera. I've been able to hear the conversation from the side and I've become mute. I've felt a kind of sadness mixed with anger and anger. Who thus affects the innocence of children? Why does a seven-year-old child use such strict ideas on the head and therefore on the tip of the tongue? Who has intended to inherit these rigid schemes?
Imagine the first question being asked to parents in the village is whether they plan to take the child to school or to ikastola.
Presa welcomes the mother of the child: “I promise you that I have never told you that.” “In my house you have never heard of that.” And yet, they've made it all dichotomously understood by a child trying to understand what's going on around him. The world, two in every medium: ikastola school, Euskera-Spanish, Basque and external.
In the village where a seven-year-old child lives there are two different buildings, together but behind their backs. Imagine that the first question that you ask parents in the village is whether they plan to take the child to school or to ikastola. And once the child has gotten into the world, the one who doesn't dare to ask shares his hypotheses in the stalls, while eating cistern trucks with the parents of other older children or just cold. In this way, there are two parallel lists that, year after year, win the ping-pong match: “This year, one more child has been enrolled in public school than in ikastola.” Or vice versa.
The fact is that I wish a seven-year-old – and, of course, seven-month-old – child to be in a village where the doors and windows of the buildings are open. A world where gray tones will also be present.

What is the proportion of a proper meal. Where does the bread that I bring to my mouth come from every day? Why I'm not hungry. Who decides that you are not me, that we are not the same. How to make food. Where the tall towers stand and where the mortal walls stand. Who eats with... [+]
The four belligerent European presidents (Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Donald Tusk) demanded a 30-day ceasefire from Vladimir Putin on May 10. Response from the Russian President: “On May 15, let’s start negotiating peace in Istanbul.”

I could have written about the invasion in the hooligan of Bilbao, but I live in a small village and I have not suffered. I could have written about Euskaraldia to thank those of you who have helped us not turn our backs on Euskaraldia, but that is not what the body asks of... [+]
We have news from last week: A 67-year-old truck driver died while loading the truck. If it had been on the road, we would have heard “inconveniences on the road”, then, in a similar way, “a trucker has died in the accident”. Now that taking the train in Gipuzkoa has... [+]

In the debate on education, the neologism that some of us are using (I think we can call it that) is pedagogy, which perhaps needs an explanation. The idea is to give pedagogy a chance, separating the two things. As in the distinction between science and science, pedagogy would... [+]
