They condemn the municipal company Posesa de Gasteiz for violating the right to strike
- On 22 April 2021 there was a strike by the staff of the Public Services of the Basque Country. 427 workers of the municipal company Tener that manages the urban bus service of Vitoria-Gasteiz joined the call.
As is often the case in the interim, the workers on strike did not receive the salary corresponding to this day. The infringement came later: The management of Haya forced the workers to recover that day or to discount the balance of hours, since it did not take into account that work day.
It is a violation of the right to strike. The Social Court No. 2 of Vitoria has told them that: The company will have to pay workers EUR 60,000. ELA has conducted the judicial process with the support of the other unions of the works council.
In any case, the Directorate of Tener expresses its intention to appeal.
