Before the press conference began, they wanted to make it clear that they met there, both the women who have suffered aggression and those who have come to show their support, and have read the statement on behalf of all. They have started by emphasising that the road has not been easy. "The difficulties didn't end with the attack, it's more, the first one brought with it another kind of attack." They have denounced questionings, feelings of loneliness, double victimization and administrative problems.

They also wanted to denounce "the chauvinist character and the lack of proper treatment they give to sexist aggressions".

Haritz Varela was expelled from the structures of the Abertzale left in July 2017 and from the San Sebastian Pirates for continuously assaulting several women. "Using her militant power, she made proposals to trick women and take naked photos of us, and some even to take them out into the street." They said the two assaults did so because of their trust in their colleagues and because they believed in their militant work. "We did nothing wrong and we would do it again. The problem is always the aggressor," they wanted to make clear.

Many of these assaulted women, since the issue was made public, are organizing themselves within the framework of the dynamic La Rebolsa de la Mariposa and managing aggressions collectively.

They also wanted to stress that positive elements have been experienced along the way, especially the complicity of the women who have found themselves on the road. "We would not have come here if we had acted alone in the face of aggression and, fortunately, we have found ways to enjoy and help each other, it has been the guarantee of the steps we have taken."

Finally, they have denounced that "in domestic spaces, as in the rest of society, we will continue to see and experience attacks, to the extent that all these spaces are crossed by patriarchy". They wanted to show their support to the women who suffer the aggressions: "We know that feminist women are the limit of that threat and we want to offer our protection: to count on us." After claiming a collective overturning of relations, they have concluded with a clear message to the aggressors: "Aggressors, you'll meet us in front! No aggression, no answers! ".
