Fractal structure of consumption
Life often has a fractal aspect: within a structure, the same structure is repeated on a smaller scale.
The cycles of “lower consumption” of work – consumption and work – are met weekly. The reasons that explain that this work is performed only in exchange for a salary and the imposed part of care, make consumption an indispensable incentive to endure the wear they produce in our body and our vitality. Buy electronics or fancy mountain clothing, romantic dinner at the restaurant or dinner party. Crazy society of antidepressants, credit cards, alcohol and cocaine. At the same time, these modern slavery pressure valves are the engine of the cycle, as the need to maintain this consumption leads us on Monday to obey the alarm clock.
If we look further, the year has remained the same structure. Along with the mortgage and the verbena, tourism is the trap that leads us to do activities that we would not do if we won 40 hours of lottery. I say a trap because, at least, the need to leave the Basque country three times a year is not a very free option.
Of course, this is a portrait of the white natives of a lower class.
