Sortu calls for a "night of indignation" before the government delegation in Bilbao to denounce González's death

The call was made on 12 September before the delegation of the Spanish Government in Bilbao. The initiative will take place until 9:00 on Sunday morning.

This Saturday night they called on the government delegation in Bilbao to "speak out aloud to the Spanish State that they must put an end to the exceptional penitentiary policy".
They have not given more details on the initiative.
Basque political prisoner Igor González Sola died last Friday in Martutene prison in Donostia-San Sebastián. He was found dead in his cell. He was 47 years old and served three-quarters of the sentence in March of this year.
He was arrested in 2005 on charges of a counterfeit of documents and a stockpile of weapons. The man reported having suffered torture during the incommunicado detention by the Foral Police.
