According to the editorial Elkar, Erika Elizari, from Hernani, has received the scholarship of the 21st edition of the Igartza Prize. This is the award granted annually by the City Council of Beasain, the company CAF and the editorial Elkar, with the aim of helping young writers to develop their project.
The Zendabalitz novel of the Church will be the chronicle of an accidental flight, guided by the internal monologues of the passengers who have climbed the plane. Due to a technical problem, the novel starts with an aeroplane stationed at the airport, and through the "internal turbulence" caused by the situation inside seven passengers, different issues are brought to the pages: concerns of the future and past, remorse of conscience, thoughts that sometimes become companions and sometimes enemies...
The Church, licensed in Audiovisual Communication, has recognised that creativity has so far also focused on this field, particularly through the audiovisual industry. Although a few years ago he wrote some adaptations of classic stories for children, this novel will be the first “direct contact” with literature.
