The National and Civil Action Committee of the occupied Jerusalem has declared the Palestinian railway project a remarkable effort to "impose new colonial realities and consolidate the policy of the gradual annexation of the city". He said that the project was not carried out for the purpose of improving transport facilities, but to facilitate communication between sites.

The fact that the settlements that Israel has established in Palestine are contrary to international regulations has been denounced by many actors, who have denounced that the train that the Basque company CAF is building only fuels the settlement of the settlements. Spain recognized the State of Palestine internationally, and the Assembly therefore requests that it ratify it in this decision: To be in favor of the State of Palestine, but to ignore it in front of the railway of the CAF is, according to him, a contradiction. And therefore, the Spanish government should take "immediate" measures to withdraw the company.

He expressed appreciation for "the position of the Government and people of Spain in favour of Palestinian rights", as well as "all efforts made to achieve justice and end the Israeli occupation".

Israel has announced that Israel will establish 22 new settlements in the West Bank. Defense Minister Israel Katz called the decision "strategic." The settlements, which Israel has tried to legalize since 1967, are illegal under the international regulations established by the UN, but the resolutions that the organization establishes are not binding and Israel can follow its own initiative. Since the signing of the Oslo Accords (1993), Israel has not established as many settlements as it does now.
