Google, Meta, Microsoft and even xAI from Elon Musk need a lot of data to train their artificial intelligences in depth, and to get that data, they own most of the Internet infrastructure. The author of this article is frightened and does not see the possibility that such data, from the Internet, may exist outside a world guided by artificial intelligences. Also in our environment, for many people, the Internet is Google. Many do not know that there are other ways to create and use Internet networks.
When I met the Internet, I was attracted to people's voices. If it becomes the voice of the machines run by four corporations, it's not the Internet I want. At the meeting held last week in Torrekua de Errenteria, we were offered the possibility to understand that there are other ways of playing and being in the digital realm: to understand digital rights and to share various lines to protect them in a feminist way. Over the years, ways of building and using another Internet are being created in many parts of the world.
