On June 23, the Department of Education of Navarra informed the project managers of the suspension of the program for the dissemination of Basque creative music in models A and D. The decision has received significant criticism from the educational unions and many other actors, and on Friday morning the Department of Education announced that the programme will continue, but will be managed by Euskarabidea.

According to the Department, "the Basque Section will thus be able to respond to the new priorities, more linked to the curriculum of the subject of Basque Language and Literature, such as working and strengthening the understanding and oral and written expression in Basque. This initiative was communicated this morning to all the centres participating in the programme."

In the words of education, the economic resources related to the promotion of the Basque Country will now be allocated to the Mintzide eta berria Mintza Jolas programs, which "will allow reinforcing the understanding and oral and written expression".

The agents who have participated in the music program have shown their satisfaction, but at the same time it has been denounced on social networks that this program should be promoted by the Department of Education that leads the PSN and not by Euskarabidea, responsible for the promotion of the Basque.
