Police empty the occupied house Mauruzia de Baiona early in the morning. Dozens of policemen close Santa Ursula Street, throw Maurizia's door and after examining the ground floor, empty the building.
A number of people have approached to shelter young people and as they have left the house they have been applauded. Journalist Ekhi Erremunerdegi from Berria has collected the images. At 18:30 a concentration was organised in the town hall of Baiona to denounce the dismissal.
In May, the occupation of housing by young people in Baiona was reported, among other reasons, to respond to the problem of residence and give a sociocultural use.
