Squares to introduce new albums and books in Creation and Literature, by the hand of Ahotsenea
- Ahotsenea will open the deadline for presenting books and records at the Sormene and Zarauzko Literaturia festivals in Galdakao on 4 April.
Ahotsenea has been trying for several years to give new places to books and records. The collaboration with the Zarautz Literature Festival in 2018 and the Plaza de Galdakao de Sormene in 2020 advances and in the upcoming festivals the call for the presentation of works will be opened.
On 13 and 14 May, the spring activities of Sormene and Ahotsenea called on artists to present the works in Basque published in 2022. The selection will be made under different criteria, including the gender and territoriality perspective, but will also pay attention to the balance between the publishers and the contribution of their first works to accommodate new authors.
In addition to the presentations, this year will also be held the Galdakao Cultural Creations Fair, where the stands will be free for musicians and discography. The presentations of the new album and book will be on the tent installed in the plaza of Kurtzeko Plaza de Galdakao, and in the hostel of the Gandasegi College of the market square.
The Literaturia festival of Zarautz is one of the annual meeting points of literature lovers, and Ahotsenea will again offer one more year the opportunity to present books. On 28 May, in the morning and in the afternoon and on 29 in the morning, presentations will be made at the book fair itself.
The registration period will be opened on April 4 at 10:00 on the Ahotsenea website ahotsenea.eus.
