The orujo comes to them with an expulsion order signed by the Baiona court on 25 May. It informs the occupants that if they desist from their eviction request, they will be expelled "by the beginning of June". The Casa Consistorial de Baiona and the public structure of the Earth EPFL, owners of the building occupied since May 4, do not want to allow the realization of a social and cultural project.
They communicated the occupation on 16 May with the desire to reach a consensus on a project in collaboration with the City Hall. It is occupying the residential area of Calle Santa Ursula nº 16 of the Santa Izpiritu neighborhood of Baiona, in order to deal with the housing problem and offer a social and cultural space to the neighborhood's neighbors and agents. But the owners regretted at the press conference on 25 May that they were "closed" to the interview. Nearly 70 young people attended to obstruct the threat of expulsion. They have published the following reading: "In addition to listening to our attempts at dialogue and ignoring the impetus of the citizens affected by the project, we can see a strategy of illegal exclusion. Uxerra has used as an excuse the lack of identification of the occupants, but when he visited us he made no request for identification." Serious procedural errors are identified.
A young man from Hazparne is tried this Thursday for having participated in an occupation to reclaim gaztetxe. With gaztetxe Ttattola without shelter, one of the town houses was empty for long years that occupied the summer of 2021. The young court is accused of "forcefully entering and threatening" in that house and the ruling will be known on 22 June. A hundred people met in the Bayona court to show solidarity. Recalling that the occupation was collective, the members of the gaztetxe reaffirm that holding a single member responsible seeks to "break the collective force and apply pressure on one person".
