In recent weeks we have been agitated because a consortium of journalists has filtered over 11.5 million documents that have appeared in Panama. They have only given us some famous names that appear in those documents, but we have to know that 1% of the world's population has documents stored in tax havens spread all over the world and that only this time Panama has left.
Without going any further, we have Andorra, Gibraltar or some small islands in Britain. The most striking thing, however, is Luxembourg, at the heart of the European Union, without forgetting the sectoral tax havens that exist between us or the Netherlands. It is significant that the authorities and their cleansing faces, that is, the attitude shown by the media, have shown the faces of hypocrisy.
Cynicism: scammers out of prison and condemned by the complainant. There are Falciani, Assange, etc., in prison or at risk of being prosecuted. Those who do not pay taxes on the street are quiet, chasing those who denounce this situation. How will this end tax havens?
What can we expect from the President of the European Commission, who drew more than three hundred multinational companies to Luxembourg when he was Prime Minister of Luxembourg? Among them, giant Google, so that its profits would be paid to zero. What are the major newspapers and television companies in the Spanish state going to write if they depend on the loans from the Banco de Santander or BBVA, even if they know that they are the houses that allocate money from here to tax havens?
Tax havens could apparently be prosecuted by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). But who will believe these organisations if their leaders are appointed by the governments of the Member States. Rato or Strauss-Khan, both former IMF managers, have been included in the Panama list, of which Felipe González is also not far away.
We have also learned that the lehendakari of Argentina, Mr Macri, and Mr Cameron of Great Britain, among others, are confused in tax havens. We cannot expect anything else from King Salmon of Saudi Arabia, the President of Ukraine or Russia. But we do not know much about the authorities in Germany or the Netherlands, or those in the United States, who do not need to take their goods outside, where they have tax havens: Delaware, Nevada, Wyoming…

All these characters, using the doctrine of neoliberalism, tell us that we have to cut social spending, one day yes and another too, and meanwhile they take their fortunes to tax havens to avoid the contributions they have to make to public coffers, leaving public revenue totally cut. In addition, these characters create famous foundations with profits from their business, usually for use in charitable activities. There is no doubt that the State would use these funds more democratically and not the promotion of GMOs in African countries, as Bill Gates and Company do.
It was said that globalization had made the world a people. And of course, in any village, anybody can move back and forth. Money can be taken from optical fibre to one side and the other, especially to tax havens, but not to people. People do not have the right to move, we have to be imprisoned in our countries. Ask if not the Syrians, Iraqis or Afghans in Greece.

What is the proportion of a proper meal. Where does the bread that I bring to my mouth come from every day? Why I'm not hungry. Who decides that you are not me, that we are not the same. How to make food. Where the tall towers stand and where the mortal walls stand. Who eats with... [+]

Immersed in information networks, I have come to some information about digital activism. When I think of digital activists, I also think of ways of organizing, not all of us—and addressing problems equally. Some approach digital activism from communication, others create... [+]
I could have written about the invasion in the hooligan of Bilbao, but I live in a small village and I have not suffered. I could have written about Euskaraldia to thank those of you who have helped us not turn our backs on Euskaraldia, but that is not what the body asks of... [+]
We have news from last week: A 67-year-old truck driver died while loading the truck. If it had been on the road, we would have heard “inconveniences on the road”, then, in a similar way, “a trucker has died in the accident”. Now that taking the train in Gipuzkoa has... [+]

In the debate on education, the neologism that some of us are using (I think we can call it that) is pedagogy, which perhaps needs an explanation. The idea is to give pedagogy a chance, separating the two things. As in the distinction between science and science, pedagogy would... [+]
