Three objectives
Participation, solidarity and the defence of justice are, in the words of Luis Aranguren, the three main objectives of volunteering: “If you only work on solidarity, you lose the social and political perspective, and the same goes for the promotion of participation only. If you only proclaim justice, you forget about the relationship with people. As a result, volunteering needs all three elements.”
