The demonstration on October 20 "Orain Presoak" moves from Bilbao to Donostia
- The "orain Presoak" event, convened on 20 October, will finally be held in Donostia-San Sebastián, as reported by the organizers. The demonstration will start at 17:00 hours from the Old Tunnel with the aim of "seeking a solution to the situation of Basque prisoners away thousands of kilometres away".
The Spanish Minister of the Interior has warned them that the Marathon Bilbao Night will be held on that day and that two multitudinous initiatives cannot be held in the same place, as several streets would have to be closed for hours. For this reason, they have decided to transfer the mobilisation to Donostia-San Sebastián.
Irati Agorria and Mikel Casado, representing the dynamic "Orain Presoak", explained the following: "We want to take advantage of the new time that opens after the dissolution of ETA and put our grain of sand in order to bring about the change that we have been waiting for for for some time. We are talking about a change that will lead us towards peace and coexistence. Let it stop generating more suffering and lead us into a society that releases knots and builds bridges."
