30,000 Navarros cannot buy medicine prescribed by the doctor
- For many it is too expensive to buy medicines. Many citizens cannot buy what is recommended by the doctor. In Navarre, 5% cannot be bought.
According to a study carried out by the Health Barometer, there are many citizens who cannot buy medicines in pharmacies. A total of 30,905 Navarros do not have enough money to pay for the medicines prescribed by the doctor, according to doctors. The barometer also provides data on the profile of people who do not have enough to pay for medicines, especially low-income pensioners, who are unemployed and, above all, women.
