Agent Ecosocial Jump is defined as "Facing Neoliberal Hegemony, the Jump is anti-capitalist and pro-positive, favorable to habitable lives. He wants to make readings and proposals based on rigorous knowledge of the complexity of the systemic crisis, to open the way to structural transformations. For this we believe that growth and sovereignty are key."

They express their will to create a more plural and eco-feminist world, "and for this we understand that we also have to undo ourselves". They stress that they want to promote the "participation of all", "promoting the presence of young generations and making a special place to care for relationships".

Three objectives, two calls and one campaign

The Ecosocial Jump has set three main objectives in its presentation: on the one hand, to socialize the reflection on the ecosocial transition; on the other, to work the environmentalism in a transversal way with the other agents and social struggles; and, on the other, to propose comprehensive stimulating alternatives.

They announce a summer campaign: "We will assert the need to act sufficiently in this society of excess and offer sustainable alternatives to the disproportionate consumption we make in summer."

Finally, they have called on citizens to "join the leap and local agents, to join in the ecolosocial struggles". In fact, they have stressed that we are in a "total emergency" situation and that the coming years will be "determinants of our survival." They have denounced that the transformation "should be initiated" and denounced that the participation and organization of citizenship are "fundamental" to "prioritize the needs of citizenship". In particular, citizens have been invited to participate in a mobilisation: "On 11 May we join the national demonstration promoted by the Social Charter and from the Sea of the Minor Fires and we appeal to come".

The road so far

Jauzi has valued that the environmental movement in the Basque Country has a "long and fruitful tradition", but this movement has been "scattered in the fight against concrete macro-projects". "Although these struggles are essential to be able to give a strong and complete response to the measure of the eco-social crisis, they missed a larger and unified environmental movement" and in 2021 began a reflection on this.

The next step was the Eco-meetings that were organized in Portugalete in 2022: "Here we came to the conclusion and consensus that Basque environmentalism needed a new tool to complete the struggles of the different environmental groups already underway, and it was decided to start a new dynamic". Hence the operator Ecosocial Jump.
