The Union of Llogaters of Barcelona, through Jaime Palomera, has analyzed the content of the decree that will last until next May. The new anti-eviction decree provides compensation to the market price for large owners who will not be able to take out their occupied and resident houses in the area. The Spanish State will not only pay the rent price for the area, but will also include the current expenses incurred by the homeowner. In the case of eviction by default, if there is a contract, the State shall assume the current expenses, but shall take as a reference the monthly income and not the market price. The union Llogaters and the United Nations Podemos, a minority member of the government, have described the decree as "hidden ransom" for the compensations that mainly benefit funds and banks.
The Council of Ministers of the Spanish State adopted the new decree on 23 December, approving the standard. The measure includes a ban on evictions and the cutting of necessary supplies to families without alternative housing, such as electricity, water or gas. The Council of Ministers reported that this law will be extended until the state of alarm, which will be extended to 9 mayo.De in this form, it was stressed that this is a measure that has been adopted at an "exceptional" time.
The standard provides for a period of three months for approval definitiva.De in this way, tenants with contracts must submit a request to the court and the social services will decide whether they are in a vulnerable situation or not. Homeowners (those with more than 10 dwellings, so that if evictions are lower they will continue to go ahead) will be entitled to seek compensation, provided that the economic insufficiency of those affected is demonstrated in the report presented to the judge by the social services.
Jaime Palomera has denounced in his Twitter account the new law that will allow big owners to benefit from the current measure: "Anti-eviction law allows landlords to earn money that they wouldn't earn without that kind of eviction. They may require the State to pay monthly market prices for current expenditure such as IBI."
This from La Razón is the world upside down. The news is that the anti-eviction law allows landlords to make money that they haven't earned without it. They can be reduced to the limit State that pays them every month at market price, plus current expenses such as IBI. pic.twitter.com/wUWnurIIsO
