The construction of the high-voltage line Ocean-Deicaztelu has been rejected
- No electric highway! The platform announced at a press conference in Pamplona on Saturday the rejection of the construction of the high-voltage line that joins the Sea and the Deicaztelu.
The news has been received from reliable sources, which have been officially reported to them by the Directorate of Environmental Assessment of the Spanish Government. The platform says it has confirmed the arguments that have supported the decisions since 2011 and that the lack of funding of arguments in favor of infrastructure has been highlighted.
In recent years, many initiatives have been taken to achieve this decision: Some 14,000 appeals have been made to the project, more than a hundred municipalities have approved motions against the construction of the project and have organized numerous popular consultations.
It is not the first high-voltage line that they manage to stop, since in 2011 they also managed to cancel the Vitoria-Muruarte line. However, the leaders of the Spanish Energy Network believe that they will present a new project instead of the one that they have withdrawn, indicating that they have already started the work to oppose it.
From the platform they criticize the fact that the Government of Navarre has not made a statement on the subject in the last two years and ask the government to commit to supporting the municipalities and citizens affected.

Forestalia enpresak Nafarroan beste poligono eoliko bat eraikiko duela jakinarazi du Sustrai Erakuntza Fundazioak. Nafarroari eragiten dioten goi-tentsioko bi linea ere baditu enpresa honek.
Itsaso eta Deikaztelu arteko Autopista Elektrikoaren aurkako Plataformak Goi-tentsio linearik ez – ate birakariei ez lelopean Nafarroako Gobernuaren aurrean kontzentrazioa deitu du larunbat eguerdirako.
Ezkio-Itsaso eta Deikaztelu lotuko dituen goi tentsioko linearen inguruko galdeketa egin dute asteburuan Gipuzkoa eta Nafarroako 39 herritan. Orotara 5.156 lagun zeuden bozkatzera deituta, eta %63ak hartu du parte. Horietatik %99,32 proiektuaren aurka azaldu da.
