Citizens who questioned the official version of Altsasu at the National Court’s meeting point
- The judge of the National Court, Carmen Lamela, has expressed her support for the investigation of the Altsasu dispute for the crime of terrorism, despite the reports of the Civil Guard and the Foral Guard that there is no such thing.
The Association of Victims of Terrorism of the Basque Country Covite denounces that the clashes that took place on October 15 in Altsasu were a crime of terrorism. In this regard, the judge of the National Court, Carmen Lamela, has decided to investigate the case.
He points out that there has been a violation of the Criminal Code 573.artikulua by those who engaged in the dispute. Lamena says that the Civil Guards suffered a “violent” attack and asks the Civil Guard for a report on the “persecution they suffer in Navarre”.
It also requests the identification of the citizens who joined in the hearing to denounce the official version of the case. Also those who have the Altsasu Youth Centre Twitter account.
