The Navarra Library Network will offer 10% of Basque until the end of the year
- In the program presented, only six out of 55 activities are in Basque: child care centers, three book presentations and two conferences.
The Library Network of Navarra is a structure dependent on the Directorate of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Navarra that has presented a full programme this week until the end of the year. As highlighted in the news provided by Euskalerria Irratia, only 10% of them are in Euskera.
The programme will run from 19 September to 14 December. Three books will be presented in Basque in September: Maite Lopez the Heras and Uxue Alberdi will present the book Ibilbidea on 25; on 27 Bakarne Atxukarro, Izaskun Zubialde and a member of the Aranzadi association will present the hand of Irulegi.
On October 2, Mattin Aiestaran of Aranzadi will offer the following talk at the Library of Navarra, in collaboration with the Athenaeum: An archaeological trip to the territory of the Iron Age Vascones. October 11 will be the turn of the reports 'Once in the world, stories in the library'. On 8 and 13 November the last story account will also be held.
