Divergent reports
I believe that in recent years two well-differentiated stories are being constructed about our history, our culture, our language, etc. On the one hand, what we could call "official line" and on the other, a line based on recent research and archaeological findings.
The discovery of the hand of Irulegi and the archaeological remains of the Iron Age discovered on Mount Oiz (similar to those found historically in the Pyrenees) undermine the argument of the official line that the absence of this formation in western Euskal Herria was not the Pyrenean and Vizcaine ethnicity itself (to say the least). The two archaeological findings show that the basconic substrate theory has its foundation. It can therefore be said that the discovery of both the hand of Irulegi and the fingerprint of Mount Oiz has been a slap in the face for the late theory (although some do not want to accept it), and it has drawn my attention that since the hand of Irulegi appeared (rectify me if I am mistaken) no fragments have been cast again. Is it chance? Or take off the TV grill before it was scheduled? Because of its scarce scientific basis? I would love to know why.

Major researchers worldwide (Hammel, Venneman, Torroni, etc.) articles published in top scientific journals (The American Journal of Human Genetics, Scientific American, etc.) indicate that there is a basis for considering the Basque substrate theory. However, researchers from Euskal Herria and the Spanish State are defending a theory that is unfounded by Franco historians and promoted for ideological purposes. I would like to know who drives this "official line" in which international scientific journals have published articles (I really don't know). It's surprising that some people become endogamic when they're interested in -- I'm not a scientist, but I know perfectly well that bibliography, research references, etc. are essential to support any argument or theory. It is very easy to say "as the latest studies show us" or "as current researchers say" and to remain so broad without further contributions. And that's not worth it.
Speaking of stories and thinking that they have something to do with the subject, I want to express my opinion on the film Irati. The film surprised me. The view that Paul Urkijo offers to the Basque Country, to the role of women, to the Basque mythology and to the history of the Basque Country, which is fiction, has seemed very appropriate. Perhaps it is barbaric, but I would say that works such as Irati can do more for Basque culture than some paid television broadcast programmes out of everyone’s pocket.
