World Bank Vice-President Laura Tuck says most of the waste ends in landfills: “This poor waste management has consequences for health and climate change, among other things.”
According to the report, good management enables a circular economy and so products are reused. It says that we have to learn how to reduce food waste through education and that society has to put pressure on waste producers to reduce plastic consumption.
