Man in prison who sexually assaulted a woman in Erandio
- The aggression occurred on the night of Saturday through Sunday, when the woman was assaulted. Between Sunday and Monday, two other men have been reported for sexual abuse, one in Vitoria-Gasteiz and another in Pamplona/Iruña.
The sexual assault took place on the night of Saturday to Sunday in the Biscayan village of Akarlanda, in Erandio. The woman had fallen asleep in the car and the 41-year-old man had come to the site and was subsequently fleeing, according to a friend of the woman. When the woman woke up, she realized the sexual assault suffered by the victim.
After the search for the aggressor, the Ertzaintza was located on Sunday in Astrabudua (Bizkaia). He confessed to being in the park of Akarlanda, where he was arrested, according to the Basque Government. After being brought to justice, he has been imprisoned.
To condemn the aggression, the Erandio Feminist Txoko and the Women’s Sociocultural Association of Erandio have called for a repulsive concentration. The call for Tuesday afternoon is as follows: At 20:00 on the metro exit of the Altzaga district of Erandio.
Two sexual abuse
On Sunday, a young woman was sexually abused in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where she was attended by a young woman. The Pamplona Municipal Police arrested the alleged aggressor in the vicinity of the sexual assault. According to the City Council of Pamplona/Iruña, the Foral Police has begun to investigate the aggression after receiving the complaint from the woman.
