For €264 million, Musken Grok will be installed in IA Telegram users
- In a year, Grok will have the opportunity to walk on Telegram, enter 1 billion users of the messaging company and receive $264 million for it. Pável Dúrov, founder and owner of Telegram, has endorsed the operation on its official channel.
Still, however, as Elon Musk has pointed out on the X network, and Pável Dúrov has admitted, the operation is not completely closed. “This summer, Telegram users will have access to the best AI on the market. Elon Musk and I have launched a one-year partnership to bring xAI’s Grok chat to our more than 1 billion users and integrate it into all Telegram apps,” says Dúrov.
Until now, Grok X was only available on the network or on other Musk tools where users can ask him anything. Under this agreement, Telegram users could play similarly with Grok when the agreement is fully closed.
Telegram has so far firmly defended the confidentiality of its messages, and although previously there were growing doubts about it, with this move this is completely in doubt. Many users fear that all their data may become dependent on the use of Musk AI
Dúrov refutes this and argues that the “confidentiality of the users” will remain absolute and that only Grok will use the data of the interactions with him. When the agreement is executed, users will have a permanent Grok chat at the top of their chat channel to make the queries they want. It’s also unclear whether Grok will use this data in future xIA workouts.
