There are many ways to live music, as much as you want. There are those who are content to hear only what they are offered. There are those who seek them, and among them there are those who investigate them more or less hidden. In this sense, what African-American musician and singer Nikki Hill said recently is very important: “If you really like music, go to most concerts and try to discover smaller groups that are teloneros; and if you are interested in what they do, buy their material and talk about it to your friends.”
And so I discovered Los Nitxos, a group of Vitoria made up of four faces that have been seen as spectators at thousands of concerts. I have seen twice live and through the Muinoko Hotsak initiative that takes place in the Gasteiz Gaztetxe and in the Helldorado Hall of the same city, the people who live with more passion music.
The Los Nitxos group was born in 2009 in the catacomb of the French city of Los Nitxos. According to them, the goal was to make a beer, but you can find a lot more than that. In particular, the Great Deaths that were published in 2011 have indications from Joy Division. In 2012 they participated in the Gasteiz Dirt Capital collection released by the label Bi batean and later, with the keyboard added, they published the direct Dead at Jimmy Jazz in 2013, with the darkest punk rock. After that, Politburo and Bazooka have created the post-punk work of the extreme Carnalito.
The members of Los Nitxos are very fond of music, very curious and have a dark, red and with many nuances: Soviet has a clear and mysterious distortion of the Flying Nun groups and also drinks from the tribal is a post-punk melódico.En front row space environment, psychodelia, lo-fi and noise rolled up.
