"Europe is also responsible for this, but its response is walls, barriers, arrests, expulsions, CIES, exclusions and xenophobia. The European response is also to prevent the shameful agreements reached with Turkey, Libya and other countries that are constantly violating human rights, and the movement of forcibly displaced people to Europe." For this reason, they demand "to react and respond with our solidarity to these daily events, and to demand respect for human rights in our environment, in our country and in our cities."
The members of the platform have said that "OEE-Bizkaia was born to raise awareness and awareness" and to defend that "migrants are people with rights".
They consider it necessary to locate refugees and demand compliance with human rights treaties and European regulations. In addition, they denounce that the Spanish State has not complied with its commitment to receive 18,000 people and that the policy of protection of refugees and migrants is very restrictive.
The members of the OEE Platform have stated that "we want to demand that the spontaneous violence suffered by women and children be seen and that measures be taken to guarantee them a safe trajectory, and we ask all institutions to take steps and take initiatives".
The platform has said that it is open to any person or group willing to fight this global tragedy and has invited the Leiozans to come to the presentation that will take place at Christmas.
