The writer Marijane Minaberri will be honored in Aldud
- On February 23, Minaberri, a banker founder and educator, died at the age of 90. The Sareinak group and the Adur Euskara association will pay tribute to him on 11 June.
The event will take place at 17:00 in the Sanoki cinema room in Aldude. Some of Minaberi’s songs will be sung to start the event. A sample of the creative work of the banking writer will be shown through dramatized readings. Interviews with those who met Minaberri can also be seen in a video. And the songs from Oskor’s Marijan Zan will set the snacks apart.
Who was Marijane Minaberri
Minaberri has left a thriving literary activity, especially for children. He wrote plays, novels, comics, and especially poems. In fact, the banker became popular when Osgertk sang 23 of his poems and released his album Marijane kanta zan.
Xipri Arbelbide wrote a brochure about him in the collection The Bidders.
