The Minister of Education, José Luis Mendoza, is leaving. He resigned and was accepted by President Uxue Barkos. Barkos thanks Mendoza for his tireless work, involvement and effort over the two years. Barkos highlights the significant and necessary changes in the education department, which after five years approved the first Public Job Offer, supervised the MYP and implemented improvements, approved the investment plan and even launched the anti-bullling plan.
His resignation will be officially announced today by Foral Decree. At 13:00 Maria Solana will take office in the palace of Navarre. He will serve as an education advisor and will continue to serve as a government spokesperson.
