Israel announced in early May a plan aimed at “toughening” the offensive against Gaza and fully occupying the list, and has since confirmed what has been said: it has killed 50 people in the last 24 hours, of which about 30 were refugee shelters at a school in the city of Fahmi Al-Jarjawi in northern Gaza, after burning those who were there alive as a result of a bombing. Since the escalation of the offensive against the list in October 2023, Israel has killed at least 54,000 Palestinians, about 700 of them since last week’s Sunday.

Not only are the air strikes increasing, but also the famine suffered by the Palestinians on the list. In fact, on Tuesday, Tom Fletcher, head of Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations, warned that if no humanitarian aid were received within the next two days, 14,000 Palestinian young children would die. Since it imposed a total blockade on 2 March, Israel has obstructed the entry of trucks carrying basic foodstuffs into the list until last Tuesday: The UN said that between Tuesday and Thursday, 90 trucks entered Gaza and another 105 were waiting at the border. Palestine calls for "concrete and effective measures"
