The Spanish National Court has called six members of the Basque Political Fugitives Collective (EIPK) to testify on Monday morning. Statements were made by videoconference from the Courts of San Sebastián. Nago reports that the statements have been very brief – a couple of minutes – and that no precautionary measures have been taken. The summary has been secretly established by the court, which will have to wait at least until June 9 for the defendants to know its contents.

The subpoenas indicated that the proceedings had been opened on the basis of the events of 2013. The documents detected to ETA before the cessation of the armed struggle, from 1999 to 2010, are presumed to be evidence. On June 13, 2013, the EIPK formed a group of interlocutors "as an instrument to solve the political problem with the Spanish and French states", and on June 15, they organized a day of solidarity in favor of the fugitives in Biarritz; as received by LARA. In the latter, the collective announced its decision to promote the path to the home of exiled and deported people. Among the fourteen people who formed the group of speakers are Jokin Aranalde, Oxel Azkarate, Xabier Miguel Ezkerra, Xabier Arin, Idoia Espias and Lurdes Mendinueta, who have been called to testify.

The news reports that the Central Court of Investigation has indicated that it is investigating whether the defendants complied with the instructions given by the ETA leadership and whether they acted under the organic discipline of ETA. The Court considered that the team of interlocutors acted as a director among the fugitives, monitoring their situation and providing legal and economic assistance.
