At the beginning of May, the Israeli Security Cabinet approved a plan to intensify the ground offensive against Gaza, aimed at the full occupation of the list and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians living there. Well, on Friday the Israeli army announced that it has launched this offensive, and in Gaza they are already beginning to suffer its consequences: According to Munir al-Barsh, director of the Gaza Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours at least 150 Palestinians have been killed by Israel, one of the bloodiest days since the escalation of the offensive against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
The Al Jazeera TV channel reports that in just one hour Israel has attacked the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza 30 times over the air. In fact, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee told Palestinians in that city on Monday to leave their homes, under the threat of further air strikes: "From this moment on, Khan Younis will be a dangerous battlefield." In addition, the latter has not been the only warning issued by Tel Aviv: on Sunday the army ordered the evacuation of the southern neighborhoods of the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the list.
Israel ' s actions against Gaza in the last few hours have caused international concern. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, for example, said on Friday that he was “alarmed” by the ground offensive launched by the Israeli army during the Arab League summit in Baghdad. In fact, at this summit between Arab countries, the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammad Xia al-Sudani, announced that a fund will be created to help rebuild territories devastated by wars and crises, the first objective of which would be to provide $40 million for the reconstruction of Gaza and Lebanon.

In January, the two sides signed a Menya agreement that should have served to bring about a definitive end to the war between Israel and Hamas, but on 18 March Tel Aviv broke the Menya and killed at least 500 Palestinians in a single day. Katz points out that the Islamist organization has called for the resumption of peace negotiations and adds that there is no need for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
However, the statement of the Israeli Defense Minister refutes the latest reports published by the Integrated System of Classification of Phases of Food Security, an association that classifies famine at five levels, and according to the report, the two million Palestinians in Gaza are above the third level, that is, above the level classified as Crisis or worse. Of these, 470,000 people are in the so-called Massacre phase.
“The massacres in Gaza are war events and the culprit is Hamas. (...) I don’t need to be ashamed at all of Israel’s way of fighting. (...) Everyone would be happy if Israel finished its work.” These are the words of Haïm Korsia, the Grand Rabbi of France – the highest... [+]
Dehumanization has penetrated deeply into the powers of the West, and they look with indifference to the holocaust that Gaza is suffering; in Gaza, if bombs do not kill you, you will die of hunger.
Now that our ship has been bombed it is a total impotence, we are well and we... [+]
