In this age of information, we've seen firsthand the bad time journalism is going through. Should it be contradictory, right?

Seymour Hersh stops the latest bomb news of his life. The last one, for now and probably forever: it's about to turn 86, and the Sy Hersh bombs take a few years to work. So -- the last one, and I would say the hardest one.

The essence of Scoop is that the American Navy submarinists destroyed the Russian and German gas pipeline Nord Stream with explosives in a secret two-part mission last September, with the help of the Norwegian army.

You can't deny that it's like a bomb blast. The United States has done a thousand similar things to any mother and child in the last 70 years. But in this case, direct harm is another nuclear power; and strategic harm, another that seems to be a fundamental ally. Through conclusions, retaliation, etc., you know how far they can go. It is no wonder that you want to keep something like this very quiet. Not even someone like Hersh wants to know that and publish: journalism is communicating what they don't want us to know.

Hersh named Joe Biden, President; Anthony Blinken, Secretary of State; Jack Sullivan, National Security Advisor; and Victoria Nuland, Under-Secretary of State. That is, the highest positions in American foreign policy. Civilians, everybody, don't believe.

However, its publication has been more atypical than the operation itself. Hersh has apparently found no better option than publishing it on his website (people who have sought their collaboration should clarify why). After its publication, the only official reaction, both in the United States and in Norway, has been the laconic (truth), shaver: "That's false." But no one has given any impetus to bring Hersh to trial, as would be essential if it were false, except for the consequences that might arise.

Instead, it has put in place a strategy with at least two branches -- which it can. On the one hand, literally eliminate the news whenever possible. And when this is not possible, make "Sy" appear as insignificant: yes, you've ever been given a Pulitzer ...

And copying and pasting have come to that curvature that any Muniain of our journalism, not even the task of whipping Wikipedia, can suggest any nonsense in his trade of what has been, at the same time, Pelé, Maradona and Messi. And fortunately, what still exists.
