The Spanish Penitentiary Directorate will bring eleven other Basque prisoners to Euskal Herria
- The Spanish Penitentiary Directorate has announced that in the coming days eleven Basque political prisoners will approach the prisons of Hego Euskal Herria. According to this institution, nine prisoners have been transferred to CAPV prisons and are in contact with the Basque Government for this purpose. In addition, two other prisoners will be transferred to the Pamplona prison.
In total, there are eleven Basque political prisoners who will bring to the prisons of Hego Euskal Herria: Ibai Aiensa, Lorenzo Aiestaran, Ainhoa Garcia, Eneko Goieasetxea, Juan Carlos Iglesias, Xabier Makazaga, Ainhoa Mujika, Jon Olarra and Gorka Palacios to the prisons of Basauri and Martutene. In the prison of Pamplona, Luis Mariñelarena and Juan Ramón Karasatorre.
From Asturias, Dueñas, El Dueso, Estremera, Santoña and Logroño these prisoners will be repatriated in Basque.
