Rosa Zarra dies eight days after a Ertzaintza punch in the stomach

Donostiarra Rosa Zarra died eight days after being hit by a rubber ball from the Ertzaintza.
On the eve of the day of the wounded, the bodies of Lasa and Zabala were transferred to the cemetery of Tolosa, resulting in serious incidents with the Ertzaintza. To protest this, the Basque platform Herria Askitu called to concentrate on the Amara Berri Pigeon of Peace. In the same place, every Thursday, the workers of Alditrans met to demand the freedom of the entrepreneur kidnapped by ETA, José María Aldaia.
At the end of the two concentrations, the tension rose and the incidents began. The Ertzainas appeared, shot and hit Rosa Zarra in the stomach.
The Ertzaintza initiated an investigation following the complaint of the Zarra family. The coroners concluded that he died of natural causes. On the contrary, Zarra's nephrologist said he died of infection due to the ball. The judge only considered the official version and filed the case.
