The Ertzaintza forcefully emptied the Kukutza III cheese mill in the bilbaíno district of Rekalde.
Located in a working-class neighborhood, since 1998, he has carried out numerous activities in collaboration with the neighbors, offering services not provided by the City Hall. The organized resistance for the defense of gaztetxe and the post-emptying protests were very large and the Ertzaintza confronted strongly. 55 people were arrested, 63 prosecuted and over 100 injured. In addition, they reported the transfer from the outpatient clinic of several parts of the injuries.
The next day began the demolition works of the building and the solar was uninhabited for many years.
