The avatars, the debates, the processes that are emerging around the new CAV educational law are directly hitting the core of EH Bildu. The pact with PNV, PSE and Elkarrekin Podemos came after last year’s “internal debate process”. And six months after that pact, the Government of Vitoria has published the mandates/decisions/drafts it wants. Many of them who do not even understand the signatories of the pact.
In early December EH Bildu and LAB produced a joint document in which it became clear that when they use the word “community” they refer to the Ikastolas. For these two agents of the Abertzale left, it is necessary to start from the “community model of the ikastolas” and not from a local public school, which is related to the social agents of the school environment, the associations of parents and the city hall, where access to all citizenship is given without distinction. Ikastolas also have that network, but access to that community is limited.
With this kind of bellows several individuals and representatives have endangered advertising in their writings and in their pines. That's right, just for education. For the whole other system, the definition of the existing public is worth. Public health systems, surveillance, pensions... are not Spanish or French. Curious.
We are talking about a law for the CAV, not for the whole of the Basque Country. We would like us to talk about a law covering the seven countries, but unfortunately this is not the case. We have to put the debate within that framework, because there will hardly be a sovereign Basque country if we continue as before, and this bill is going there. It will perpetuate the dual system, turning its back on 50% of public school in education. EH Bidu, in its quest to save the 15% of the Ikastolas Confederation, will hugely support the 30% of Kristau Eskola, with all that that implies, but they forget to mention this issue.
And this is not the story “The King is naked.” EH Bildu is being informed of the shortcomings of this approach, of data and of experiences, but they remain deaf.
We are in time to get out of the pact and make a shared proposal that is in addition to the social traditions of the sectors on the left. Let's start on Wednesday 14, refilling the streets of the three capitals of Bilbao, Vitoria and San Sebastian.

You may not know who Donald Berwick is, or why I mention him in the title of the article. The same is true, it is evident, for most of those who are participating in the current Health Pact. They don’t know what Berwick’s Triple Objective is, much less the Quadruple... [+]

The other day I went to a place I hadn’t visited in a long time and I liked it so much. While I was there, I felt at ease and thought: this is my favorite place. Amulet, amulet, amulet; the word turns and turns on the way home. Curiosity led me to look for it in Elhuyar and it... [+]
