The platform Montañas de Ayala Viva denounces that the Provincial Council of Álava has ordered several municipalities of the region to carry out preliminary procedures for the approval of the special plans of the Montañas and Ferosca I wind farms.

The Group emphasizes that the Mendi project has an impact on 300 hectares of the municipality of Orozco and that, therefore, it is not within the competence of the Arabian foral institution to decide on this matter, which is the people of Bizkaia. In any case, the organization does not mention the municipality of Vizcaya. He only orders Ayala and Amurrio to agree to complete the plan.

The platform also highlights that the Ferosca I wind power plant also occupies land in Okondo and that the Provincial Council has not issued orders to this municipality.
