We are in front of a book of poetry, but to say it alone would not be correct. Antton Kazabon has collected 44 poems in this book, but as the pages begin to pass there is an element that surprises the reader, that of the photographs. Because there are colored photographs taken in many parts of the Basque Country next to each poem, accompanying the poems, completing the book with them. As it appears on the back cover of the book “the photographer has been looking at the landscapes. For a moment, the photographer is awakened by the feelings and emotions of the interior, which he writes next to each photo.” From the aesthetic or formal side, therefore, this work is curious and attractive; solid paper, photographs of colors, beautiful landscapes... and alongside them poems of different styles, tones and themes, related to what the photographs suggest, as

Joxerra Garzia points out in clear and interesting prologues.

This last question, that of the prologue, also makes the book special, because in books, in literary works, at a time when the prologues are increasingly foreign to us, Garzia perfectly explains the uniqueness of this book, the value of this book and the skill and richness shown by the writer in the poems.

The image and the word are therefore the main elements of this book. And since it’s difficult for us to reflect the image, here are a couple of examples of the word, representative of the rich style and theme mentioned above:

In the case of this first poem we can see a girl in the photo, a piece of shoulder from behind and her head, looking at the wave that has hit the rocks, while in the second one, which beats, the photo on the left shows us the beach of La Concha.

Kazabo has dedicated poems for both young and old in this book; this work could be placed in that undefined limit that has been commented on many times, and this is evident in the style used in the elaboration of the poems, symbolism, metaphors, games... even in the themes. Love, attachment to the earth, our environment, because there are so many topics in this interesting book.

Undoubtedly, as we have mentioned so many times, another clear example of the intention of this writer to build and open new paths.
