The first session of the 2023 Bertsolaris Navarra Championship was held in Irurita, at the Baztan Civic Center. About 140 Bertsolaris fans have gathered to follow the program live. Six bertsolaris participated: For its part, Maialen Belarrak has been in charge of raising issues. The Navarra Association of Bertsolaris has been assisted by the Baztan City Hall and the people of Irurita to organize the session.
After the scored test, Sarai Robles scored the highest score (354), so he got the card for the first semifinal to be played in Altsasu on 4 November. He is followed by Saioa Alkaiza (333), Idoia Granizo (328.5), Ekain Alegre Gil (324), Eneko Fernandez (320.5) and Egoitz Gorosterrazu (291.5).

The championship will continue next Saturday, with a day in Viana. The session will take place at the local House of Culture at 17:30. Julio Soto Ezkurdia, Xabat Illarregi Marzol, Ekhiñe Zapiain Arlegi, Patxi Castillo Graciarena, Urko Gartzia Aleman and Aitor Irastortza Arrizubieta, by the rapporteur Zigor Gartzia Arrangi "Zian" will act there.
