The march to the FCC and GHK and the Incinerator Debt Party are called by the Anti-Incinerator Movement and Gipuzkoa Zutik
  • It will be this Saturday, Hernanin. The callers denounce the health of all citizens and the fact that money is put at the service of the benefit of a few. The companies that want to build the incinerator (including FCC) and those that will select these companies (GHK board members) will be publicly signaled through the noisy march. The contributions received at the Incinerator Debt Festival that will be held later will be used to pay the fines imposed by the Basque Government on Gipuzkoa Zuti.

12:00 Noisy march to FCC and GHK from Hernani’s Plaza Nueva

The deadline for companies to submit to the incinerator tender expires on 27 October. In this juicy article written by Iñaki Petxarroman in Nueva, you have the ones that have been presented, and Pello Zubiria has reported on the blog Zero Zabor about the IDOM that will carry out the technical advice of the incinerator. The Gipuzkoa Waste Consortium will select the companies as soon as possible and to denounce it, the Anti-Incinerator Movement and Gipuzkoa Zutike have called for a noisy march to the FCC (one of the companies that has been presented) and the Gipuzkoa Waste Consortium (whose board members make all the decisions on incineration). They have asked people to bring all kinds of tools to make noise.

The Incinerator’s Debt Festival

After the march, there will be a Fiesta of the Incinerator’s Debt in Hernani. The poster shows that a popular lunch will be held at 2 p.m. (no pre-registration or card required), and after lunch there will be bertsolaris, poetry, children’s games, a painting workshop and musical performances: Duo do Puerto by Morau and DJ Miau.

There will also be a fanzine, and the money raised at the party will be used to pay the fines (here the first, and here the third) that Gipuzkoa Zutiki has imposed on it. In view of the number of members identified, Gipuzkoa Zutik expects that they can receive around 9,000 euros in fines and has begun to complete the common stock exchange.
