The Extinction Rebellion movement calls the day of disobedience

The Extinction Rebellion movement called the day of disobedience. Tens of thousands of activists carried out disobedience activities in 60 cities around the world, with mass demonstrations.

The most extensive answer was in the UK. There were 700 people arrested, 200 of them in London. The protests continued for several days, with the blockade of the main streets and other acts. This actor gave new impetus to the activism of the international environmental movement, not focusing on values such as violence, disobedience and direct action.
