- At 21:00 hours fireworks were flown in the prisons of Martutene, Zaballa, Basauri and Pamplona. In Donostia, at midnight, the people of Oñati have been screaming for the prisoners for the second night. This year the Ertzaintza has not allowed them to use the public address.
On December 31, 2022, the prisons of Hego Euskal Herria were jointly and severally set up, causing fireworks in Martutene, Zaballan, Basauri and Pamplona. They have also denounced that the removal policy remains in place: nineteen prisoners are in prisons outside the Basque Country.

In Martutene, moreover, at midnight the prisoners have taken a surprise, when for the second consecutive year the citizens have been saying good years and encouraging them. It was mainly people from Oñati – a car last year, two this year. Last year, by public address, from 23:30 to 00:00, solidarity was delivered blindly. It was an initiative that gave a lot to talk about, despite the permits, because an ertzaina, when she left, broke a window of the car with a blurry blow.
This year the operation of the Ertzaintza was waiting for entrepreneurs, placed in the place of guns and cables. They have been prevented from using the public address or coupling. However, for half an hour – from 23:45 to 00:15 – they have screamed, making demands for prisoners, and encouraging the names and surnames of political prisoners.
