This weekend, at 19:00, from the entrance of the Donibane Garazi City House, they will show solidarity with the complaining liceo Navarre girls. A group of local neighbors have set the appointment and have also called for the participation of the feminist assembly of Ipar Euskal Herria and the feminist collective Bagera.
Last week it was reported that two young girls at Donibane Garazi's Lyceum have filed a complaint about group rape to which they have been subjected. The gendarmerie of this locality is analyzing the case.
The feminist assembly of Ipar Euskal Herria, which meets to organize on 8 March, has called on the citizens to denounce the culture of rape. "The gender system tramples on us differently, one of them is the maintenance and promotion of the culture of rape. In order to revolutionize this root system, to definitively end the culture of rape, it is essential to organize ourselves in the context of the feminist struggle". She has dedicated all her support and solidarity to young women who have been raped by the assembly. The assembly also claims the need for a feminist education: "We need to advance education, and from there, the mentalities of feminism, to put an end to the long list of violations."
This reading has been joined by the feminist collective Bagera of Hendaia, who presented the film.
