The cultural initiative Txillardegi Library believes that the memory of the writer who has given “so much” to the Basque language should occupy the place it deserves and has prepared an extensive program on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his death. First of all, the organizers will make the premiere of the video titled “In Memory of Txillardegi”, by Kote Camacho. The day will take place on January 13 at 18:30 in the crypt of San Jerónimo Street in San Sebastián.

The second event will take place on January 15. There will be a literary-musical performance by Rafa Egiguren and Dorleta Urretabizkaia at 11:30 in the Plaza Lasala in San Sebastián. A singing session was held at the library.

The cultural initiative has also prepared an open seminar on existentialism. To be held on 18 January at 3.30 p.m. in the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the UPV/EHU, the guide will be the writer and professor Fito Rodirguez.

To conclude the events, the Solar Group will recall the work carried out by Txillardegi in the field of ecology, by Markos Zapiain and Martin Anso. It will be held at 18:30 in the crypt of San Jerónimo Street in San Sebastián.
