Building "bridges of the future", they emphasize that "in these turbulent times" the pro-Basque voices must be heard aloud from now on: "It's time to give him the treatment, the place, that belongs to the Basque language."
The dynamic Sorionekuak on Sunday, 10 May, using the bridge as a basic element to "look each other in the eye", has called for meetings in support of the Basque language throughout Navarre in an appearance: "We need bridges in these turbulent times. We are convinced that ours is a land of mutual understanding, mutual knowledge and mutual respect."
In 2023 the platform Sorionekuak was created, and in June of that year a mass party for the Basque language was held in Pamplona, under the slogan "Euskara, for all Navarrese". Following this first step, they want to give importance to continue making their way on May 10: "Because we are not those who are content to look back, we are in favor of taking steps."
The call has been supported by several personalities from the Basque Country, who together with them have called on all social and political actors willing to take this step:
The stone lifters Iñaki Perurena, the actress Anabel Arraiza, the former footballer Oier Sanjurjo, the filmmaker Arantza Santesteban, the bertsolari Erro Colina, members of the feminist movement Idoia Arraiza, the musician Julen Goldarazena FlakoFonki, the Basque technician Jaione Dorai, the journalist Iñaki Soto and the singer Zuriñe Hidalgo, among others.
