Before the extreme right, the streets of Baiona will be welcomed on Saturday under the motto "social emergency, democracy on the horizon"

The following trade unions have called for a demonstration against the extreme right: Cfdt, CGT, ELB, FSU, LAB, Solidaires, UNSA and USL of Lizeans. They join the call Alda, Cimade and other groups. The social emergency, under the motto "democracy lanjer", will be protested on Saturday at 11:00 hours in front of the Baiona station. In the hope of cutting the way to the far right, the trade unions unanimously invite a "democratic and social earthquake". They are clear: with the tip of the right, the staff will always lose out and they will hear that warning on Saturday.
The demonstrations will take place throughout the French State, and this will be followed by the appeal of dozens of associations, trade unions, parties and collectives. Includes the LDH Human Rights League, AC! the unemployed, the Attac association and the anti-fascist network Ripostes.
In the elections to the European Parliament held on 9 June, the far-right party RN in the French State (31.37% of the votes) and in the Northern Basque Country (22.7% of the votes), the first force emerged. Parliament was dissolved and voted by President Emmanuel Macron on 30 June and 7 July. The day after the elections to the European Parliament, thousands of people have already taken to the streets of Bayonne with the aim of spreading slogans against fascism.
Aware of the real risk that the extreme right will come to power, the leftist parties are in favour of agreeing a single candidature to impede the National Union RN. EH Bai is in favour of this option.
The candidates will have to be declared by the parties for Sunday night, and among the Byzans, the leftist parties are also negotiating enthusiastically the number of nominations each party will have. It has been known that France will have 229, 175 members of the Socialist Party, 92 members of the Green Europe and 50 members of the Communist Party. An attempt is being made to agree on a programme for the first hundred days of the new government, but major discrepancies complicate alliances. Among other things, both the position to take on Palestine and the candidacy to be appointed Prime Minister, not all parties are of the same opinion. Through demonstrations on Saturday, citizens will also make the call or pressure to maintain that unity heard.
