The events took place on 23 July, on a flight from Gothenburg (Sweden) to Istanbul (Turkey). The Swedish Elin Ersson, 21, refused to sit in her seat to prevent the deportation of a pathan who was on the plane. Through the social network Facebook, it issued the action live.

Ersson, refusing to sit down, hindered the take-off of the plane. After two hours of rest, the passengers stood up and managed to reduce the Afghan who was heading for deportation from the plane. Ersson was also expelled from the plane. The Göteborg court has imposed a fine on him for this.
