Suspended the production of cookies at the factory Mondelez de Viana

The Mondelez de Viana factory is not making cookies. Workers have been on indefinite strike since Monday. The management of the company maintains a closed attitude in the negotiation of the agreement and the workers are not prepared to accept an agreement that does not provide for better working conditions. "We want to reach an agreement that takes into account seniority, salary increase depending on the CPI and the reduction of working hours," said Juan Larraya, head of Tierra Estella of the ELA union.

The continuity of the strike is almost absolute among those who work in production, less among office staff. It is "satisfied" with the follow-up by the representatives of the Working Committee. They do not see the end of their protests because there is no intention to start negotiations by the ENORESA leadership. They continue on strike and organize a demonstration for Sunday from the Plaza de los Fueros de Viana. The Works Council is composed of seven representatives of Workers' Commissions, five from LAB and one from ELA.

For the time being, they have met with the mayor of Viana to explain that the only thing that is being asked is the salary improvement and the best working conditions. They complain about the representation of Spain in Navarra that it has set a "fixed schedule" to make their protests against the company and that they cannot be "as many" as they want.
