They murder a stabbed woman in Bilbao and arrest her partner
- The events have taken place at 00:20 hours on Thursday in the area of Mina del Morro, in the district of Santutxu, when a 34-year-old man allegedly killed his 31-year-old partner.
Hearing loud noises and shouts, residents have called for emergency services and when they have arrived at their home they have found the woman seriously injured on the ground, according to the Basque Department of Security.
Several patrols of the Ertzaintza and the Municipal Police have reached the scene and the woman has died on the spot when being attended by the emergency services. The alleged murderer, the wife ' s partner, was still in the house and has been arrested by the police.
So far this year, two other women have been murdered in Euskal Herria in Machista killings. Last May, a woman was found dead in a hotel in San Juan de Luz (Lapurdi). The police arrested her partner as a suspect of the murder, which was arrested by the police. Fifteen days earlier, the woman had rushed from a fifth floor in a hotel in Ziburu, in the capital of Alavesa, fleeing from her sentimental partner.
